Having received and e-mail  from a family member concerning this location the potter house murders are just an urban legend.  None of the listed sites have accurate information. Having looked through public record my self and coming up with nothing also solidifies this claim

This is a Urban Legend:

"The Potter House is no longer standing having been burned down as a training exercise by the fire dept in 2003. The foundation still remains as well as a barn a garage and a small shed are all that remain of the original property. As the story goes it was the location of a murder suicide according to Bowling Green lore, the father shot his wife, his kids, and himself in the 1970’s."

 We arrived here around mid night to do one our investigations we found our first run to be very quiet yet you just had that feeling you are not alone. We marked this as a place to return to. When we returned a few weeks later we found some very interesting finds which we have here for you to review.

Old Reports About The House

This is a Urban Legend: 

The last family to occupy the house was named Minton; the house got its familiar name from the road. The spirits of the unfortunate Minton family never left their home, and the place was uninhabitable from then on--even for short periods of time. Whether angry or just desperate, the entities haunting the Potter House were quite violent and unpredictable. Even a single night spent there revealed why the place remained unsellable.

This is what they said: Stairs creaked as if someone was coming down when no one should be there. Objects flew through the air and smashed against walls--especially in the kitchen, where the cabinets had a habit of flying open on their own. Voices spoke to the late night visitor--usually the mournful voice of the mother. Perhaps most frightening of all, looking out through an upstairs window was known to show you a figure, completely black, heading from the field toward the house. Definitely not a place to visit on your own.
